Mary Day 3 Part II
Well, after a three-hour nap yesterday, Mary was not that interested in going to bed so we stayed up until midnight dancing, rolling around on the floor and listening to music. It was fun, but exhausting. Lesson learned: Three-hour naps might be too long. Rookie mistake.
Unfortunately, she woke up sick this morning, even though she looks cool in the picture. She is managing to projectile vomit a substance familiar to me only from Ghostbusters. She does have great range, though, and can keep herself surprisingly clean in an impressive display of velocity and trajectory. She's actually very mellow and sad.
We'll see. Mostly, she wants to rest and wretch.
We did not make it to the museum today with the Homans and our guide, Ashley. That's the second touristy part of the trip we've missed. We'll get caught up at some point.

First, welcome to parenthood -- just dive right in!
Second, I have to say Leigh has the right idea here. With projectile vomiting, always have the child facing AWAY from you :o) She looks so content just sitting there, though.
Hope everyone feels better and gets some rest!

Dude, did you notice how big your head looks compared to her's? Princess Fiona looks like a natural...you, not so much. Keep the updates coming...Mary is da' bomb!
She is so adorable. It is neat having such clear images from so far away. She looks very relaxed in both your arms. Cherish those moments with her on your shoulder. Before you know it she will be standing up to your shoulder, like my boys are now (actually Nathan’s past my shoulder). Can’t wait for the next update.
Leigh and Mike,
Doris and I are delighted with Mary. Robust, rosy cheeks, big laugh. She's truly beautiful, even though I have to admit she looks a lot like some of Mike's baby pictures. Could have predicted the stomach upset from previous days' menus.
I hope to have the opportunity to expand her vocabulary as I did yours a few years back.
Much love from Pete and Doris.
